It was my fathers 63rd birthday while we were camping. So we had to celebrate. I was all prepared or I thought i was... I pre-made a giant cookie and kept it away from the bears (Human & Animal types). I Brought along two tubes of icing for the kids to decorate. Of course on this day it rained all afternoon. So my plans were dashed till after dark. The icing was so cold we had to warm it by the lantern and then the kids still had a hard time squeezing it out. We did sing and the cookie was great.
The gift was suppose to be part of a scavenger hunt. Early in the day i had the kids color photos around the campsite. Again the weather messed up that plan I could not have 7 kids and one Grandpa ruining around in the dark. All and all the kids and grandpa had smiles on there faces that is all that matters.

Rain...
It seams like every time we go camping for the past 2 years it rains. This past trip to Limekiln Lake in Inlet NY was no different. Although out of 5 days only 2 rainy days and only 1 rainy evening.
After several hours of entertainment in the camper and under cover we tossed on the swimsuits and went in the lake. I did not get many photos it was just raining to hard and cold. This swing was in a site a few sites down from us.

David vs. Skyler
So Skyler has lived with us for about 2 months. Every time David comes over he stays clear of any one how is holding her and if she is out on the top of her cage David is not in the same room. i think the nose and her wing flapping is just to much for him. But today he was brave. He let her go on his arm and climb up his shoulder. then he just could not stop giggling.

UPK Photo Book
Better late than never. At the end of the school year when Aiden was in UPK I was planning on doing this book as a teacher gift. Well as many of you know I at that point had PPD and was going downhill fast. So now, one year later I’m finally feeling better. Just getting back to my long to do list I can now cross this one off. This book is neat (i think) each page has the kids name as they wrote it. Along with answers to questions that I asked them, and the text in the Childs favorite color. I can't wait to give it to the teacher. Sheriden is going to UPK in the fall and she will have Ms. Balles as well

We had so much fun at this beach it was nice, it had all aspects, stream to play in,waves to ride, sand to play in, shells to find, rock to climb and a potty! What more could you ask for in a beach.

First Road Ride
Several weeks ago we went to get ice cream. What a better way to go then to ride bikes. but how will all the kids get there. Rob and I decided to let Aiden ride his own bike. A big moment.

we are off
Here we come ready or not
Today the countdown is over, The kids and mommy have been waiting for this day for several weeks. We are off to see good Friends in Maine. There home is very orderly so this will be interesting for them to have a 15 mo old hanging out for several days. So today the kids are "packing" I think everything but there desk chairs. Mommy is going to have a work out packing everything in the car and keeping Regan happy. A big thank you to our house/pet sitters we could never go away and leave them with just anyone. We hope to leave when rob gets out of work.
