My grandpa

Regan got to spend a little time playing with Grandpa. It has been a long and busy summer for us all, Regan is loving hanging out with Grandpa finally. She realizes who he is, for sure! They were enjoying tummy time when mommy interrupted with camera.

Food art!!!

Food art is big in our house. Here is Sheriden and Daddy's latest. Sheriden calls this girl with lip gloss.
The eye and ears are turkey, Hair is club crackers, Grape pile for nose, Cheese for chin and lip gloss, Hot dog for mouth.

My Boy

What a crazy few weeks it has been Aiden off to school all day. I must say I miss him for sure.
I went and got him out of bed after Sheriden was asleep so we could cuddle on the couch. He has been having trouble falling asleep these days. After a "little cuddle" as he calls it off to dream land with out a peep.

Visit from Parker

What a handsome little man. Parker came to visit and fell in love with the dog's water. We had fun playing in the pool, with all the toys and making pizza. He founds lots to keep him busy in our kid friendly home.

The Golden Garvest Festival

We went to The Golden Garvest Festival a few weekends ago at Beaver Lake. We took Grandma Sue with us and Grandma, Grandpa and David met us there. The have so many great things at this festival. The kids attended a puppet show and a magic show. Of course we had to taste the fresh homemade doughnuts. To finish up we went the horse drawn wagon ride. They have so many great little shops as well. I got the kids some great tie dyed shirts for Christmas. This is one festival we never tire of.

Great book

"I Don't Have to Make Everything All Better" this is a great book It has taken me forever to read it. After renewing it several times at our local library I did it just in time to go back to see my counselor for the PPD. This book covers a lot on validation, with kids, co-workers, parents and other adults. I found this very helpful and found that some of my greatest friends use validation. I have found in trying to validate, that is has opened up communtion with many people.

I got this bad boy off Craigs list. Regan loves it. She is even wilder now. Jumping and gabbing Im in trouble.

Learn to SK8

Both Aiden and Sheriden are in the learn to SK8 program 7 weeks of falling on your caboose. Aiden went all the way to the middle of the rink with his friend to help him out. Sheriden was funny the teacher got her to stand but she started to move forward and said "OH NO I'm moving" teacher "that's ok" Sheriden "are you sure". I look forward to seeing the improvement over the fall.

sling me

I never thought I would need to get a child version of my sling but I have "take turns" now. The other day we went shopping and I had to convince here magic would be ok in the pouch so mommy could use the sling. Do you think I can share till Christmas?

The Birds

We meet another playgroup friend last week at a local park to play. We brought some bread along to feed the duck. I was funny the kids tossed some in and the seagulls came over (it sounded like the movie Nemo), but as soon as the ducks appeared on the seen the seagull stayed back. Those birds are just crazy, the moms were just waiting for the bird poo to fall. It would have been hard not to laugh if that happened. The kids love this simple kind of adventure.

Believing is seeing!

Well Well look who is on the boat. For those of you who know David he is “not “ a boater. We took the boat out one evening on the river and he said he wanted to go. Mom and Dad drove just in case he changed his mind. He got on and off we went he was unsure when we were stopped or going slow because the boat would rock more. As you can see from the expression on his face he had a blast. It was a nice relaxing ride. I’m glad our family is getting to use the boat this year. David is ready to go again as long as we go fast he fits right in with the rest of us.

Camping trip 4

Camping at Long Point State Park. In 2005 it was named one of the Top 100 Campgrounds in the nation. Long Point State Park is in a remote area, offering a peaceful, relaxing camping experience. Situated on a peninsula facing Chaumont Bay on Lake Ontario, the park is small and almost completely surrounded by water with great views from anywhere in the park.

This was great. Our campsite was right on the water. As you can see from the photos we took the dogs 3 dogs and 3 kids we were out numbered for sure but with back up, Grandma, Grandpa and David went as well. This was a nice campground. Flat great for bike riding and small, I would not want to camp her for a long time but is was a nice break from the hustle of most campground and a nice brake from the busy life we have had over the past month.

Paper is such a great toy. We went to friendlys to celebrate the 1st day of school complete and while waiting for out ice cream we were entertained by Regan.

first day of school

Aiden first day of school. What a big boy and what an important day. He loves the bus (mommy not so much) "the girl" kept busy with all kinds of things that day but by 2 pm I was thinking we needed to go meet the bus.

hair cut again

Mommy seeing red after seeing Sheriden with her hair cut again by "big brother" I had to call rob at work and talk with him while Aiden was in his room. I calmed down and told him we would have to talk about a punishment for him when Daddy got home.
We involved him in picking out the punishment NO TV for 2 days I could not go to hard as he started Kindergarten the next day.

Super Cute she is but...

I was the one dealing with her crying the next day becuase we could not do a pony tale.

Ok I know why up pay someone to take the kids photos but I just needed on photo for a grandparents day craft. You would have though I was asking them to go to bed or something. Silly Silly and Sillier!!!

Good Taste

Thanks to our friend, Regan is now riding in style in a Britax car seat. Regan was having a hard time in the infant seat but she loves this one, “good taste” I think. The only issue is not having the sun shade but this awesome hat works great!

feeling right at home

We went to Kindergarten orientation today. This is Aiden teacher it did not take him long to warm up to her as you can see. They have two pigs in there room and a 55 gal fish tank. He should feel right at home. We will see tomorrow is the big day my baby will get on the big yellow bus and be gone all day. I just can’t believe it. I need to make sure I take two happy pills tonight.

It has been so long for my blog. We have been so busy. I have 922 photos in the file on my computer just in August not to mention that it is September 3rd and I have over a 100 and we have not even gotten to the first day of school for Aiden. I will try and get some updates up but I also am playing catch up with Mommy and Me business as well, some of you know how that goes.
