project 365

Ok what was I thinking I really don't have time to do this project. 3 kids, 3 dogs, 2 pigs, one husband, and a household I can't see me keeping up with this. We just do so much and the kids have so in to crafts and projects these days im busy with that. If I can find a way to do it from my blackberry then we are back in busniess.

crafts

We have been busy doing many things. This was a craft that Sheiden and I did. She had fun putting all the ribbons on, she is proud of her work. Aiden has tons of things around, so for her to show off is great.

Teething

What a horable part of being a baby. Teething is it rougher on the parents and silblens or the baby. Regan is an awesome baby but a very cranky teeter but who can blame her. As with all baby we have gone the long road on what she likes and does not. A carrot out of the fridge will stop the crying every time she just love it. Not to mention how cute it looks.

Our Zoo

Here’s a new way to play the old game of tag, with these cute detachable tails from Playskool. The Playskool Tag Tails Zoo Chase comes with four adjustable belts, each having a detachable tail: a tiger, zebra, monkey and a lion. The tails are inter changeable so they do not have to be on a specific belt. This set comes with direction for various game ideas.
We have had a lot of fun with this, though again, it’s one of those games that can get very rowdy, and I am so ready for spring, so they can run off some of their energy! We have had these for almost a year now, they are still going strong. Grandpa and mommy were the zoo keepers and when the animals get out of the zoo(off the carpet) we have grab there tails. So much fun we have done this with the kids and 4 adults, and the 3 dogs.

A great big hug to Grandpa for coming over and hangin out with us while our Daddy is gone.

Crazy or Not

Ok so most of you know that our house is "lived" in. we are very child friendly here. I love letting the kids do fun activities and craft things. We have been hosting several events here for Mommy and Me the past few months. It is funny to see the moms come in a think Im crazy for doing these crazy craft and Art stuff with not only my kids but others as well.

Today we had Art here there were 7 kids that painted on canvas with. We did it at the kitchen table (the rest of my house is under mess I'm switching things up). This little girl was 11 mos old her older brother did the painting and then the mom thought she would let her try. It was just too cute.... I love the work she did it looked like a sunset with yellow at the top and down to the darker colors at the bottom. Just look at the concentration.

Who said saturdays were eazy!

Well as normal in our house today was crazy. We are off to gymnastics in the am for A & S then back home to rest (in our dreams). You know your day is going to be bad when you and your hubby both get up in a bad mood. I think all 5 of us was just in a "mood".
Some Friends of ours came over in the afternoon, it has been so long, it was great to visit with them and hang out with there little boy. It was the 2nd time they had seen Regan he works in the hospital I delivered in so he came up to see us the day we checked out. Tomorrow will be better or some one will be in jail. : )

Share

Sheriden was "sharing" her apple with Regan. We had to have a chat about asking mommy before giving food to Regan. She handed Regan an apple slice great for teething on, great for chocking on and one mad baby when you take it away.

The history of Sleeping beauty is kind of interesting. Check it out on Wikipedia

storm

Last night I sat on the couch watching HGTV and played around with my storm. I can't think of the last time I just lounged in front of the TV Trying to figure out all the cool things it has and finding games on it. We upgraded to this so I could have my calender and contact information all in one place and with me all the time. It has been great for the calender I love it. A great mommy tool for sure. I can't imagine not having it.

Things

Sitting here this evening next to the fire, I remember a sign I seen today. I was on my way back from a friends house.

"The most important thing are not things"

So true...what is important? Today it was the nice time we had playing and spending time Grandma and Grandpa. At the end of the day memories are the only thing that is our very own. Everyone will enjoy an experience differently and take different memories away from it. Today watching my kids enjoy their grandparents was great for me, I'm sure the kids remember a much different thing, Sheriden taking grandpa's M & M, Aiden flying his helicopter, To each his own.

I know heavy but really think about it....

babywearing

Im in love again. We are the proud owners of a BECO Butterfly. LOVE it. It is considered a soft structure carrier. sort of like a framed backpack. (we have one of those as well) This carrier you can wear a baby on the front or back (like a backpack). I love this because unlike the framed carrier you can feel the baby right on your back and she can feel me, she does not sit up high like in the frame carrier i have and I can bend over and she does not fall out. I love this this. don't get me wrong I still use the sling but I went grocery shopping with this carrier and I really had my hands free and she was safe and sound. Check it out....Baby Snazz it is were i got it.

ahh another day done!

Just another day in our home. Busy, Busy....
get Aiden off to school, make a few phone calls, pack Regan's stuff,
take the girls to my gym, back home for lunch, clean the master bedroom,
pick up kids from school, get Aiden and Sheriden to ice skating,
back home for dinner and then begin bed time for all..

Well almost all...
Mommy and Daddy left with a days worth of kitchen mess.
Complete with dog debris on the floor.
Man what a mess, I was so happy the dish washer was empty.
Now if I can get a few hours shut eye I will be doing good.

Aiden's morning clock

just like every house ours you here Aiden you need to... about 100 time on morning that there are school. Here is my solution. "Aiden's AM School Clock" I took the face of the clock and scanned it, then used my scrap booking software to put the translucent pie shaped colors on it then printed it out on Card stock, cut, then reassembled. Now I just leave it up to him, no more nagging just hay did you see your clock? It is a great visual reminder and if he is ready early or when the clock is on the white he can have free time.
In case you wanted to know.
Orange: breakfast
Blue: up stairs stuff, making bed, dressed and teeth
Green: go stuff, shoes, coat, and backpack
White: free time
I love this, I will keep you posted about how it works out long term.

But...
To sum up Christmas WOW. three little ones make it very exciting. Reindeer food, milk and cookies for Santa, Santa tracking. I think our tree was great. You will not rob standing with the lantern, Our power went out on Christmas eve from about 10ish till 3:30. It was hard to get ready for the big day by candle light. I hope you all had a good holiday and I hope to see you soon.

Santa

We went to see Santa one Saturday at the "star" mall as sheriden says (my little shopper). Sheriden walked right up and sat down and went on with her list. She was asking for 3 things, an umbrella, cupcake maker, and a bird. Regan stayed with mommy you can see her head at the bottom of the photo. Aiden was off like a shot out the other side of the booth. after we walked away he was concerned that he needed to go back but just could not work up to it. kids are so funny.
