tree deco party

I think the kids and Grandpa jack did most of the decorating this year. Even a pair of Sheriden's chrsitmas sock on the tree the whole season. Regan was not happy when we told her we were all done.

drive my self nuts...

It never ends with me I drive my self nuts...
Yet another project that I would like to do. What do you think? I would like to remove the back splash that is there and replace it with tile. the dark gray/black tile is a bit metallic I would love to add metallic pulls to the cabinets.

Pratts Falls

A quick hike at Pratts Falls this past weekend. We are so lucky that the kids share our love of outside. When we started the walk they had a warning sign, Aiden just had to read and Sheriden was hung up on it the whole time. She was very worried about where injury or death was; now just how do you explain that. All the kids were just amazed at the water fall even Regan love it pointing and making all kinds of noises. We took one dog and all 3 kids all 3 kids fell asleep in the car on the way home and Riley enjoy a peaceful ride home.

Feid Trip

In October Sheriden’s UPK Class went on a field trip to a local pumpkin farm. They had so much fun doing gourd sling shot, taking a tractor ride, fun train ride, and picking a pumpkin. The best part was the bus ride.

Gift Idea

Upcycled Sweater Mittens
Call it what you will, I use Upcycled, recycled, or repurposed sweaters and line them with new polar fleece, these are the warmest mittens you'll ever love! Try a pair today and you'll agree. I search for the perfect sweater, I wash it before I carefully begin the creative process of producing these 100% unique mittens. Because of the uniqueness of these mittens, the tightness of weave of the sweater used in construction can vary the fit. Remember, for a mitten to be effective, it has to be loose enough to let the fingers wiggle.

It's a playdress

Sheriden and I went to the local rescue mission and found this size two adult dress. so mommy got crafty and cut it off flatted out the chest area and added some straps, She wore it all evening. It is great and only for $5.00, and it wont fall apart like those dress up cloths you pay big bucks for. Needless to day we will be heading back to look for more! I think her face says it all.

A visit

We went to visit a great friend. She is due with baby number 2 in a month or so. Her little boy just broke his leg, it really does not slow him down much. They kids had a great time playing I had to keep reminding Aiden and Sheriden that Parker had a "boo boo" on his leg. like they could not see it but I really was worried about them getting to crazy.

two S's

What more can a toddler want then a favorite pair of shoes and a stool to get in to things.
Our wonderful neighbor picked up these cute mary jane crocs for Regan she loves them. Regan has be exploring the art of stooling. She has become very efficient with them. I have taken all the two steppers and locked them up but the other are places all over the house where she like them if we move them back they go. This pink one she carries everywhere, I think she would take it in the car if I let her. But even I have to draw the line somewhere.

Simple things...

We went to the golden harvest Festival at beaver lake and Sheiden must have rolled down this hill 3 times. She did almost take out a few people on her last trip so we had to put an end to the fun but next time we stop there she will hit this again I'm sure.

Go-Cart not made for two

David wanted so bad to do the go carts. But we did not want to send him out by himself so Rob went. First both of them did not really fit in so Rob was wedged in. It took david a while to figure out the gas from the break. At some point druing the ride someone bumped in to them and david turned it in to bummper cars, Rob had his hands full. This track had a hill and clearly this car was not made to move 2 adult males, the Car could barely make it to the top of the hill. Rob lived and has only a few more grey hairs and David had a blast.
