Oh my, a month
It has been a month since my last post (feel like I'm in confession). In true Southworth style we have been busy. We are in full Christmas swing in our home inside and out. where to start. well I have gotten a new laptop and a blackberry phone I hope that helps me stay organized better then my paper calender. I have been working on getting both to talk with each other and some how erased most all my contacts in both. I have managed to get my addresses in no phone number or email address so if you have not heard from us that is why I don't have your information. (send it to me)
Aiden is going great in school. He is reading now it is so cool to see him read a book. My baby boy. It was just yesterday I was saying so big and so proud that he would raise his arms.
Sheriden is loving being at home with just the girls, also loving the fact she seems to have her own group of friends.
Regan is getting around but not a full crawl yet. Any day I think I will put her down and turn around and she will be gone.
A & S are taking Ice sk8ing and gymnastics, they love it, Aiden is getting little muscles and Sheriden can do a small cartwheel by her self. She is the smallest in her class 3.5 yrs and the next turned 4 in the fall, I'm so proud of her she pays attention and tries so hard.
I will have to catch up on posting photos...

What a day
I must say if you are in the mood to clean you can get it done for sure. With all the PPD stuff going on with me the last 6 mos our house has falling apart at the seams. I have been working hard and regaining control...I cleans the foyer area and the dinning room both of them were not even a hot spot in our house that area was a total infernal. I did manage to get most of it done even cleaned the floor. Party for me!!!

My big boy
"I will see you after School mommy"
Wow that is what Aiden said to me when I dropped him off at school today. He now walks in with J our neighbor about 1/2 way to his class. He is just in love with school. I was rubbing his back to try and get him asleep last night and he was running words bat cat mat....so on. We may have an issue with him trying to turn off his brain so he can sleep, he has been up till after 9 and this am I found him awake at 6:45 "Aiden good morning what are you doing buddy? Oh I'm reading" You have to love the excitement over new skills. It was just such a momment me in the van with the girls and Aiden walking in to school.

Happy 1/2 Birthday Regan
I don’t think I blogged on this topic….
Happy ½ Birthday Regan!
This is a family tradition. We have cup cake and a few gifts for the 6 mo birthday. Here is this story behind it.
My Grandfather Don lived with my parents and with Rob and I (when we stayed there), I also was the one to take him to all is drs appts and such. We had a good chance to grow close the last several years of his life. He was quite a man, he had many stories.
Aiden was born in April and as fall approached grandpa insisted that we have a ½ year birthday for him because as he put it, I’m not going to be kicking in April. Now why he would say that is beyond me as for an 85 year old he was in fine shape. Aiden as a baby would lay on the table and watch us play cards. He loved when Grandpa would sing. You just had to know him. Any how so he wanted to get Aiden a wagon as every boy need a good wagon. Grandpa’s birthday was on Oct. 5th and we had a great day cake and the whole deal. The next day he passed, he just knew I guess. So every child of mine has a 6 mo birthday because grandpa wanted to see this dam kid eat cake : ) (you really had to know him). He is missed very much but the tradition continues….
Regan had all kind of baby babble for us, she loved the cup cake, David loved giving Regan her gift (grandma’s gift these days what is hers is his as well).

Pumpkin Patch
This was a good time of course, I was in search of a pumpkin that Regan would fit in I have always want to take a photo of my little pumpkin. We have not tyred it yet but I will keep you posted. We took Grandma sue with us she wanted to pick 5 perfect pumpkins a challenge with the grand kids "helping"
Sheriden mission was to find a "grily" pumpkin. So cute he it is. But just as we were getting ready to load it in the car we spotted a rotten spot. Oh the tears and crying was insane over the rotten "girly" pumpkin. So off we went to search for another one luckily we found it fast and close.
Aiden's Mission was to find as many as he could!
Of course Daddies mission was to carrie them!

Great faces
Regan was bouncing (her favorite past time) I had the camera and took over 30 photos here are a few with some great faces. Note the photo in the top left is a great one of her sharpies (2 teeth).
Oh this old thing
We have been trying to keep busy with all kinds of projects. While Regan is napping.
This is a denim jacket that was given to us, and she refuses to wear it. Well after a long week of hard work,
painting, sewing, gluing, sequins, and gems oh yea glitter of course this is now the favorite coat. She is proud of her work.

Leubner Apple Farm
The girls went to Leubner Apple Farm with Mommy and Me. We get to pick 5 apples one pumpkin and a tractor ride. It was fun a nice day for the kids to be out. Leubner's is great because it is not really commercialized.

My Boy
What a crazy few weeks it has been Aiden off to school all day. I must say I miss him for sure.
I went and got him out of bed after Sheriden was asleep so we could cuddle on the couch. He has been having trouble falling asleep these days. After a "little cuddle" as he calls it off to dream land with out a peep.

The Golden Garvest Festival
We went to The Golden Garvest Festival a few weekends ago at Beaver Lake. We took Grandma Sue with us and Grandma, Grandpa and David met us there. The have so many great things at this festival. The kids attended a puppet show and a magic show. Of course we had to taste the fresh homemade doughnuts. To finish up we went the horse drawn wagon ride. They have so many great little shops as well. I got the kids some great tie dyed shirts for Christmas. This is one festival we never tire of.
Great book
"I Don't Have to Make Everything All Better" this is a great book It has taken me forever to read it. After renewing it several times at our local library I did it just in time to go back to see my counselor for the PPD. This book covers a lot on validation, with kids, co-workers, parents and other adults. I found this very helpful and found that some of my greatest friends use validation. I have found in trying to validate, that is has opened up communtion with many people.
