Well the mid winter thaw has shown us the pond. As you can see the fish are all still up right and swimming. Swimming slowly but moving. We did get something to keep a hole in the ice to let the bad gases escape the water. As you can see from this photo there is a thin layer of ice over the pond still.

I didn't realize they were still in there! If they can survive a NY winter then they are set.
