Teacher gift idea

Sheriden's teacher was out having surgery so she missed Valentines day with the kids. I helped the sub who was her sister to get both classes (40 kids) to make her personalized water bottles.

We had each child color on a strip of paper then I laminated them and hot glued them to the water bottle. They came out so awesome, I hear she has loved them and was brought to tears.... Love it.

It's a playdress

Sheriden and I went to the local rescue mission and found this size two adult dress. so mommy got crafty and cut it off flatted out the chest area and added some straps, She wore it all evening. It is great and only for $5.00, and it wont fall apart like those dress up cloths you pay big bucks for. Needless to day we will be heading back to look for more! I think her face says it all.

Slime

I have been watching a friends kids for the past few days. As you can imagine I have been running out of ideas to keep all 5 happy. Today while Regan was napping the rest of us made slime. The kids were great they all followed the directions well, 4 batches of slime in one shot. They played with it so long that I started this scrapbook page. The words are word they said while playing. Good group of kids. I have to thank E for the recipe it is a staple in our house.

You can't

My creative juices have been running on over drive this past few weeks. I have more project then i can shake several sticks at.

This is "my" teacher gift. Aiden is going to make her a gift. But I just had to give her something from me. She has been a great teacher and I consider her a friend.

I used my circuit to make the letters and then etched in to the glass. It reads "You can't scare me I'm a teacher" Love it. at the bottom is a removable glass charm that she can put on any glass. The charm is blues and greens, with two leafs. I love it...

The other day, my girlfriend and I were going to try and scrapbook just one page while the kids played. We have been talking about this for a while. As you know I do digital scraping but I have been paper scraping pics from Aiden’s baby years. Anyhow… She got here and we got of stuff set up and began. Regan was a little stinker but she did ok the girls did great we could not believe it. Then we got an SOS call from another friend needed me to keeps kids for the day… so now lunch for 6 kids and dinner for 5 kids... I was glad to help out needless to say We did not finish our pages but later on I did, I think it came out great.
