Frist day of School

Well better late then never.  The kids have been in school now going on week 4.  They are both doing great.  Aiden had a very trying start to school with just having his tonsils out about 2 weeks before and being in a class with on one he new.   Sheriden is in love with school she has a great teacher.  Her teacher loves her.  "she is so sweet she just comes to school with a great attitude"   Now for Regan and Mommy, we has taken about 4 weeks to adjust to them not being home.

Oswego County Fair

Aiden and Cooper In Cloverbud Grooming and Handing He had to show off Coopers Best. His Teeth and how well he had groomed him before getting there. They both did a great job.

We had to take the crate for Cooper when he was not showing. Regan found it a great place to eat her snack.

The last class was the costume class it was fun for all the kids.

Kandinsky's art work is very interesting to look at over the time he lived and matured as an artist.

Oozing With Talent

Well we made it through Aiden’s First Science Fair. His scientific question was what makes popcorn pop? Fun right, and easy, this is 1st grade. It was fun to work on with him, He loved making the poster with all mommy cool tools.

It was neat to see him talking about his porject with his judge.

He recived a cool tee and a ribbon can't get any better then that.

We are proud of him it was his choice to do the fair and he did a great job.

Kid to Kid Post Office

On Monday we headed went on rt 90 and went to Strong Museum of play, I was packed. We meet up with some friends. All the kids had fun but the crowds left the parents on alert more then normal, this lead to tired and cranky parents. While our friends braved the long line going in to Wegmans we heading in to the Kid to Kid Post Office. I think my kids could spend an hour in this section they just milled about for 1/2 hour. They need better parent chairs in his area.

Pratts Falls

A quick hike at Pratts Falls this past weekend. We are so lucky that the kids share our love of outside. When we started the walk they had a warning sign, Aiden just had to read and Sheriden was hung up on it the whole time. She was very worried about where injury or death was; now just how do you explain that. All the kids were just amazed at the water fall even Regan love it pointing and making all kinds of noises. We took one dog and all 3 kids all 3 kids fell asleep in the car on the way home and Riley enjoy a peaceful ride home.

A visit

We went to visit a great friend. She is due with baby number 2 in a month or so. Her little boy just broke his leg, it really does not slow him down much. They kids had a great time playing I had to keep reminding Aiden and Sheriden that Parker had a "boo boo" on his leg. like they could not see it but I really was worried about them getting to crazy.

First Road Ride

Several weeks ago we went to get ice cream. What a better way to go then to ride bikes. but how will all the kids get there. Rob and I decided to let Aiden ride his own bike. A big moment.

Here is the good old tinker toys hard a work. This is Aiden creation part snow remover, lawn mower and baby exerciser. Most of the time it was in one piece it was playing keep away with Regan. It was very fun to watch. He would try Plowing snow and have to kick it in high gear to get away from the incoming baby.....

Last Name

Well I got word that I needed to work on our last name with Aiden. He was just out right refusing to work on it at school just too many letters and would just walk away. I find this funny I'm not sure why but it is funny, maybe because I can see myself doing the same. Any how step in mommy, as Aiden will not do "typical" school work well with me I turn to hands on things. We made this on day, using the Cricut he typed in his last name then watched it cut. I had the squares ready for him we glued each letter on in order then oops mommy drooped them. had to put them back in order, we used paperclip to hang each letter together. He loves it, now proudly hanging in his room. Aiden writes his entire name on every thing at home now and showed his new skill to his teacher.

Wow that is what Aiden said to me when I dropped him off at school today. He now walks in with J our neighbor about 1/2 way to his class. He is just in love with school. I was rubbing his back to try and get him asleep last night and he was running words bat cat mat....so on. We may have an issue with him trying to turn off his brain so he can sleep, he has been up till after 9 and this am I found him awake at 6:45 "Aiden good morning what are you doing buddy? Oh I'm reading" You have to love the excitement over new skills. It was just such a momment me in the van with the girls and Aiden walking in to school.

Just a little bigger

Aiden was helping Rob put the boat in the garage for the winter but for this part he need to get just a little bigger.

My Boy

What a crazy few weeks it has been Aiden off to school all day. I must say I miss him for sure.
I went and got him out of bed after Sheriden was asleep so we could cuddle on the couch. He has been having trouble falling asleep these days. After a "little cuddle" as he calls it off to dream land with out a peep.

Learn to SK8

Both Aiden and Sheriden are in the learn to SK8 program 7 weeks of falling on your caboose. Aiden went all the way to the middle of the rink with his friend to help him out. Sheriden was funny the teacher got her to stand but she started to move forward and said "OH NO I'm moving" teacher "that's ok" Sheriden "are you sure". I look forward to seeing the improvement over the fall.

Aiden first day of school. What a big boy and what an important day. He loves the bus (mommy not so much) "the girl" kept busy with all kinds of things that day but by 2 pm I was thinking we needed to go meet the bus.

UPK Graduation

I hope we get this cute smile in 18 years from now.

We had Aiden UPK Graduation today. I can't believe my little boy is so big or will go to full day kindergarten next year : ( . Today was so cute they all tie dyed shirts to wear and sang several songs along with a slide show of photos from the year. The teachers gave each child a back pack with goods to work on over the summer. Aiden calls that his homework.
