You know how some things you know are there but you never see. Check out this bunny nest. We were clearing the gardens of weeds and found this hole with fuzz over it. Not touching them we pulled it back and took a quick photo. We took time to talk with the kids about how careful we needed to be. They are so tiny. We did place a lean to of sorts back over them they were very sheltered with the weeds and in about a week’s time the nest was empty. My mother (Joyce) did say see seen the mama and one baby hopping in the yard.

Great Photo
Our new addition
We are dog lovers that is for sure. For the past 2 years the kids have been members of the Bone diggers 4-H club in oswego county, ny. They have caught the dog bug. Aiden has been working with Cooper. Sheriden worked with Riley in the fall with tranning and this past spring with Cooper. So here is our Our litter girl Devlin (born May 6th), she is an Australian Shepherd She comes to us from Alyiah's Aussies http://aliyahaussies.homestead.com/index.html. We can't wait to bring her in to the fold of our pack. That will bring us back up to 4 after the sad passing of our beloved Jill last summer (2010). This breed of dog will be fun for us. This is the first purbreed dog Rob and I have owned. I was thinking back and we have owned 5 dog 6 counting Devlin. These photos are from our 2nd trip to visit with her this past weekend. The kids had to give her kisses and told her to be good till friday (so cute).

I think I have seen it all in potty training….
We went to buy a now toilet seat and found the Bemis 546ch at Home Depot it was about $30.00. I can’t believe I don’t have to hall that padded Diego potty set on and off the potty 20 times a day! I was a little worried it would not work but it did and looks nice, and Regan is super happy to have a big potty seat. She calls it the rapido potty, yes to say she loves Dora and Diego is a bit of an understatement.

Kitchen Chairs
Old nasty cover with years of wear |
We bought this table with 6 chairs about 10 years ago at a furniture auction (a closing business) for $250.00 dollars it was a great buy. As with most kitchen tables they seen a lot of action. Several years ago I had Rob sand down the top and I refinished it, it was like a new table again. Now the chairs are a different story, I’m not sure why they put cream colored fabric on chairs but after only a year I redid them and put on this blue and green plaid fabric (5.00 bucks a yard I could not pass it up) it has served us well. But you can tell they are in bad need of removing, but not wanting to spend a ton of money I went to my fabric stash much to my surprise in the deeps of it was this amazing wine bottle tapestry, it is perfect but I needed an additional yard. I turned to Google found it Harvest wine bottles double score! So for under 30.00 bucks, fabric and a can of Scotch Guard I have new chairs! I think the new fabric goes so well with the wood of the table and chairs as well with our floor.
